One-to-one walking tours of London are included in your homestay package to add extra enjoyment to your visit and enhance your learning experience.

As well as being enjoyable in themselves, the walking tours provide ample opportunity to practise your English conversation skills.

The tours cover many famous London landmarks and cultural centres including museums and art galleries.

Tours are very flexible and can be tailored to satisfy your particular interests. Below are two examples of walking tours taken of central London.

Example tour 1

Public transport to Green Park underground station (Victoria and Piccadilly Lines). Return from Piccadilly underground station (Piccadilly Line).

Tour: Green Park, Buckingham Palace, The Mall/St James's Park, Horseguards Parade, Whitehall, Downing Street, Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, Haymarket, Piccadilly Circus.

Example tour 2

Public transport to Embankment underground station (Bakerloo, Northern, Circle and District Lines). Return from St Paul's underground station (Central Line).

Tour: Hungerford footbridge, London Eye, London Aquarium, Royal Festival Hall, National Theatre, Tate Modern, The Globe Theatre, Milennium footbridge, St Paul's Cathedral.

The tours tend to take between two and five hours and include light refreshments.
